Amphawa Night Festival Where Waterways and Lights Meet
A night festival in Amphawa, Samut Songkhram, runs from September 11 to 20, combining food, culture, and lighting displays. On weekends, local food and stage programs make it ideal for an evening stroll.
Amphawa in Samut Songkhram is drawing attention again as an evening travel destination.
According to the official announcement, the “Neramit Amphawa Amazing Thailand Food Festival” runs from September 11 to 20, 2026, and takes place at Amphawa Floating Market, Rama II Memorial Park, and nearby riverside areas.
For travelers, the most appealing time is after sunset rather than during the day.
With lighting, floral installations, and a walking route along the waterways, it is a great place for photos, and there is enjoyment in seeing how the familiar market atmosphere changes at night.
On the weekends of September 11–13 and 18–20, food and stage programs are added at Rama II Memorial Park.
The official announcement says that up to around 60 food, beverage, and local product vendors will take part, making it a convenient place to browse local snacks and souvenirs in one visit.
It is presented as a public event open to general visitors.
For an evening visit, wear shoes suitable for walking along canals and riverside paths, and bring enough battery power and camera memory since there are many illuminated sections.
