Travel Inspiration Spreads from Bangkok Across Thailand
TAT highlighted the impact of its ambassador campaign and the growing interest in destinations such as Wat Arun, Udon Thani, Chiang Mai, and Rayong.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand, TAT, said the “Amazing Thailand Ambassador” campaign has received a strong response.
According to the official announcement, the campaign generated more than 448 million impressions across media and digital channels, and the official launch event at Wat Arun drew significant attention.
For travelers, this feels like more than a campaign result. It signals that interest in Thailand travel is expanding beyond Bangkok.
The destinations officially mentioned include the Red Lotus Sea in Udon Thani, Wat Chedi Luang in Chiang Mai, Wat Arun in Bangkok, and Koh Talu in Rayong, while Khao Sok National Park and several northern areas also drew attention.
A useful travel tip is to avoid trying to fit all of these places into one day. It is easier to enjoy them by grouping trips by region, such as Bangkok temple visits, northern cultural travel, and southern nature travel, which can help reduce transit fatigue.
TAT also referred to 2027 as “The Year of Transformation” and said it will promote destinations outside major cities and local cultural experiences more widely.
This is closer to a travel trend update than an event notice, and regular travelers are free to visit the destinations mentioned in the report.
